BALSCOTE

Balscote is a pretty little village, built mainly of the local dark honey-coloured ironstone.

The parish church, the medieval Grade II* listed Church of St. Mary Magdalene, is in an elevated position in the centre of the village. Full details about the Church of St. Mary Magdalene can be found here.

Balscote is about 4 miles west of Banbury, just south of the A422 Banbury to Stratford-upon-Avon road.
