Tadmarton is a mixture of dwellings of different styles and ages, some of them being in the local dark honey-coloured ironstone. It is an attractive little village and spreads along the main Banbury to Shipston-on-Stour road.
The parish church is the early Norman Church of St. Nicholas. The building was enlarged and the bell tower added in the 13th century.
The manor house has a 15th century barn, believed to have been built for Abingdon Abbey.
Tadmarton is about 4 miles west of Banbury on the B4035.
